The Peace & Social Cohesion and Enterprise Development programmes function as two mutually reinforcing pillars. While the peace programme strengthens trust, inclusion, civic awareness, and peace, the enterprise development programmes transforms these enabling conditions into concrete economic outcomes. These combined efforts create a stabilising cycle in which social cohesion enables economic participation, and expanded economic opportunity reinforces peace, resilience, and long-term community wellbeing across Balochistan.

Balochistan Rural Support Programme

BRSP is one of the largest organisations in Balochistan and a member of a larger network of Rural Support Programs in Pakistan. BRSP’s endeavours have focused on improving the living conditions of the rural poor for more than three decades in the province of Balochistan. BRSP evolved from the “Pak-German self-help project” in 1983, as a collaboration between the Federal Republic of Germany and the Government of Pakistan.

RISE Balochistan is aligned with Pakistan Vision 2025—particularly the pillars of People First, Inclusive Growth, Sustainable Development, and Modernisation of Governance—and with key national and provincial frameworks, including the Balochistan Community-Led Local Governance (CLLG) Policy 2021, Balochistan Youth Policy 2022, the Local Government Act 2010, and the National Action Plan (NAP) on countering extremism.
